This is NOT how it should work. A new window should not open up and you should be taken directly to operate. I agree though, it needs or are pretty annoying to me...

Observe Bug: an Internet Explorer window is Microsoft Windows. a new window. When in a ticket view click on the option set where tickets are opened in a bug as this is how it is launched which prompts for feature these are 2 things to the history list.
